Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port Wines
For when you can’t — or won’t — wait for a Vintage to mature. As the name alludes to, Late Bottled Vintage comes from a single high-quality harvest, classic or not, pre-aged 4 to 6 years in large neutral French oak foudres so it arrives to market ready to enjoy immediately, without the suggested 10+ years of cellaring for Vintage. Only lightly filtered (our Quinta do Tedo house style), it will still evolve beautifully for another 5 to 10 years in bottle — unlike Rosé, Tawny, Colheita or Ruby Portos, which are made to drink on release.
