The Douro’s next interpretation

Brought up amid the wine worlds of Burgundy, Napa Valley, Chianti and the Douro, siblings Odile and Paolo have started a new series of wines for Quinta do Tedo — their interpretation of what the Douro Valley offers its next generation of grape growers, winemakers and drinkers.

For the whites, they source small parcels of local white varieties from growers at higher-elevation sites around the Quinta; for fresher reds, they have shaped our newest estate plantings, bringing back historic varieties well adapted to a harsher climate — preserving the historic genetic diversity of the Douro’s grapes, and of its styles of wine.

Only 500–2,000 bottles of each label are made, available exclusively at our Cellar Door.
