Description
Year: 2015, an excellent non-classic Vintage: not every house declared, but most single quintas did. Grapes: 18+ varieties led by Touriga Nacional, from 40+-year-old field-blended vines. Terroir: schist soils, arid Mediterranean climate, grade-A vineyards. Winemaking: foot-trodden 3 days in lagares, fermented 3 days under temperature control, aged in 7,000-litre foudres, bottled unfiltered within 2 years. 4,000 bottles. Alcohol: 19.5%.
