Description
made every year since 2010, from traditional Porto grapes: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca. Terroir: schist soils, arid Mediterranean climate, grade-A vineyards. Winemaking: the grapes skip the lagares entirely — gently pressed on arrival, just 2 hours on the skins for that pale blush, then partially fermented and fortified with double-distilled (extra-neutral) grape brandy to protect the delicate aromatics. Four months in small, temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. 7,000 bottles a year. Alcohol: 18%.
